Identity Design
Bal Sak & Zumer Sport
Bal Sak / Zumer Sport is a quirky company based in San Luis Obispo, California. They came to me with the awesome concept of a sports bag made of real sports leather. I came up with an identity that could be used across multiple sports. The brand quickly expanded from just sports bags to include apparel and other sports related materials.
Love the idea so much that you need to have your own Bal Sak? Check them out at ZumerProducts.com While there check out some of my additional logos: Zumer Sport, Figure It Out, Ethno Buddies, and Zumer Products.
Kids Day in the Park
To start off I have to say that this was a really fun project to work on. "Kids Day in the Park" is a weekend festival put on by a local non profit organization. The best part of this project was working in a group and having access to a couple of photographers. It was great being able to act as an art director and have your vision come to life.
The event organizers were looking for a fun way to advertise their event. Our campaign revolved around the tag line "Let Your Imagination Run Wild." This tag line was strengthen by the quirky photography of children pretending to be animals.
Nirvanix
This was a quick identity I made for Nirvanix; a online storage company down in San Diego. They were on a tight time schedule and needed the entire project finished and sent to the printers within 72 hours. The concept was brought to me by the companies' marketing group. They wanted a logo that looked like an exploding server. This logo would be used on various marketing materials including a YouTube video of the CEO actually smashing a server with a sledgehammer. This identify along with the rest of the marketing materials actually won a few awards.
